Starting in year 2007, Thomas interned under his brother Pastor Dan Palmer for an entire year before he became the Atlanta International Church youth, Don’t be a Punk, director. Punk, meaning “worthless person”, was a very common slander and Thomas found the use in the title of the program appropriate.
